Tegan and Sara Tour

Pop duo Tegan and Sara are readying to release their eighth studio album Love You To Death and that means it’s time to hit the road! Just announced today, the Quin sisters will be traveling the globe in support of their upcoming disc with shows in the U.K., U.S., Australia, China, Japan, and their home country of Canada.

Kicking off with a show in L.A. on May 2, the tour will take the twins across the globe until November, with eight Canadian dates scheduled.

“Boyfriend” was released April 8 and acts as the first official single from Love You To Death and has the Quin sisters doing what they do best – giving listeners a cathartic are we/aren’t we relationship song they can dance to.

Singing “You treat me like your boyfriend / And trust me like a very best friend / You kiss me like your boyfriend / You call me up like you want your best friend / You turn me on like you want you boyfriend”, the Quin sisters tap into the scenario of being in love while being kept a secret, again proving that deeply personal and emotional lyrics don’t have to be sad ballads.

Tegan and Sara are again working with producer Greg Kurstin, who helped create their album Heartthrob and has worked with Kelly Clarkson and Adele. The full tracklisting for Love You To Death features nine songs in addition to “Boyfriend”, including “That Girl”, “Faint of Heart”, “Dying to Know”, “Stop Desire”, “White Knuckles”, “100x”, “BWU”, and “Hang on to the Night”.

In addition to “Boyfriend”, Tegan and Sara have also gifted fans with the track “U-Turn”, an upbeat certified sunny bop that deserves some serious radio play.
